The Fix-It Friday template on a phone
Fix-It Friday is a made-up sample business. Your name, photos and jobs go in its place.

What you get

Everything on the page is yours to change

  • Your phone number, big and near the top
People tap it to call about a leaky faucet or a door that sticks. You can set it to start a text, so they can send a photo of the problem, or show both Call and Text.
  • The area you cover, and your hours
No shop address needed. "Find us" can say "We come to the house" or "Town and the nearby county".
  • The jobs you take, on their own page
With two pages: up to 24 items in up to 4 sections, like Doors, Drywall and Fixtures. Each one can have a photo, a name, a short line and a price, a "from" price or "by the hour".
  • Photos of your work
A banner photo and photos of jobs, with a short line under them like "Level, hammer, brush. One trip if we can."
  • Follow us buttons
Add links to your Facebook page or your Yelp page. Only the ones you fill in show.
  • Change it from your phone
Words, photos and prices, from your phone or a computer. The layout of the template stays as we built it, so the page keeps looking finished.
  • A QR code for magnets and cards
Once your site is online, download a QR code to print on fridge magnets, business cards or the truck. People point a phone camera at it, no app needed.
  • A web address included
A Standwell address comes with every plan.

Questions

Questions handymen ask first

Can people send me a job request on the site?

Not through a form. They call or text you from the big number near the top. Set it to Text and they can send you a photo of the problem from their phone.

I charge by the hour. What do I put for prices?

The price spot is plain words, so "$60 an hour, 1 hour minimum" or "from $75" both work.

How much does it cost?

One page is $4.99 a month or $49 a year. Two pages, with the jobs you take on the second page, is $9.99 a month or $99 a year. Setting it up is free and needs no card.

Does Standwell check my license or insurance?

No. We only make the website. If you are licensed or insured, you can say so in your own words on the page.
